Well, folks, It’s a wrap.

Watch : The Grand Tour

Well, petrolheads, brace yourselves for a bit of bittersweet news in the world of cars and banter. Our beloved trio – Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond – have just wrapped up the final episode of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime. Seven glorious years of mayhem, laughter, and a fair bit of Clarkson-induced chaos have come to an end.

The three of them just rolled back from a wild shoot in Zimbabwe, and let me tell you, it’s going to be one hell of a special. Mark your calendars for next year; it’s going to be a ride you won’t want to miss.

Now, before you start mourning the loss of the boys shenanigans, hold onto your helmets. Rumor has it that options are floating around for a fresh take on the whole shebang. Amazon Prime and the trio of mischief – are being prodded for a comment, but are keeping their cards close to their chest. You never know, they might just pop up with something even crazier in the near future.

The Grand Tour has had a good run – five series of tire-screeching, engine-roaring action, all kicked off back in 2015 when they bid adieu to the Beeb’s Top Gear. Oh, the memories of Hammond, Clarkson, and May wreaking havoc on the telly. Good times, indeed.

Speaking of Top Gear, did you hear the latest? It seems the Beeb has decided to take a siesta from the show, at least for the foreseeable future. Apparently, Freddie Flintoff had a bit of a mishap in a crash while filming. Ouch! In their official statement, the BBC said they’re giving the UK show a well-deserved rest.

Now, May spilled the beans on the Today Podcast recently. According to Captain Slow, the whole Top Gear shebang needs a rethink. A bit of a facelift, if you will. The subject of cars hasn’t been this interesting since, well, the wheel was invented.

For those who’ve been following their automotive adventures from the Top Gear era to The Grand Tour, you know it’s been quite the rollercoaster. From punch-ups over hot food availability to exporting our madness worldwide, we’ve had our fair share of controversies.

Remember when Clarkson bid farewell to the BBC in 2015 with a punch heard ’round the world? Ah, good times. They hitched their wagons to Amazon Prime, and by the looks of it, enjoyed the ride. The first season’s viewing figures were off the charts, reported by Reuters in 2018.

But fear not, my fellow enthusiasts! The journey doesn’t end here. Clarkson’s Farm is plowing back for a third series, and May’s Our Man In… series is cruising along on Amazon. So, while The Grand Tour might be hitting the brakes, the trio is far from done causing trouble on the streaming screens. Buckle up, folks; the road ahead is bound to be as winding as ever.
